A Legacy of Cycling in Northwest Ohio

The Hancock Horizontal Hundred began in 1970 as a grassroots effort by the Hancock Handlebars Bicycle Club. Over the decades, it became known as one of the flattest, friendliest century rides in the Midwest. With scenic farmland routes, smooth blacktop roads, and incredible community support, it attracted riders from across Ohio and beyond.

After a short pause in 2020, the ride is back and better than ever for its 51st year — now organized by Making Miles Matter INC, a local nonprofit dedicated to promoting wellness and community through hiking and biking events.

This year’s revival is made possible by the passion and leadership of Brandon Glomski, Joshua Herod, and Timothy Brown, who are committed to continuing the tradition of the HHH while building an inclusive, active community in Findlay.
